I bought this as a conditional gift for my 3 years nickjr games, but only if she stays in bed all night 5 days in a row. So far, it is not, so he gave me the opportunity to use this netbook a decent amount. I must say I am impressed thusfar. I added 2 GB memory upgrade, I put MS Office on this subject, I bought the matching Toshiba external DVD, and I present an anti-virus on it. They treat me like my VAIO laptop, and so far has worked perfectly without problems ot slow. It 'so light and portable and the battery lasts a long time, even after watching 2 DVDs. Go to Toshiba website and download the new audio driver, which increases the volume of a DAT. The speakers are not great, but certainly enough to watch a movie or listening to music in a very quiet place. I begin to hope that my daughter continues to come in our bed at night so it can continue to use this netbook!

Acer Aspire One AOD250-1580 10.1-Inch Blue Netbook - 7.5 Hour Battery Life Review
When i first ordered this netbook I didn’t realize how small it was going to be. Then I got it and going from a 17.6 in laptop to a 10.1 in netbook was quite a shocker. I saw that I had 30 days for a return so I thought I would just try it. It took me a little while to get use to the smaller keyboard and I had made mention to my mother in law that I would give it to her once I got a bit of a bigger one. Well after a few weeks I really got attached! I LOVE how light it is. I LOVE how small it is to carry (i just throw it in my purse when i go to the library to study or to the laundry mat). I had kaspersky 2010 antivirus on it…but a 1 gb ram…then my netbook started to slow down HORRIBLY! I was so frustrated with it, but then I upgraded the ram to 2 gb. Still slow…I uninstalled K2010…downloaded windows FREE antivirus and use google chrome as my browser and now my netbook is the fastest thing ever. I am soooooo happy and in love with it I ordered my mother in law the same one, but white. This is perfect for someone who just needs internet and a typing program. I talked my mom into getting the 11.6 in one in red. She loves it too!

About a month after he developed a sploch black screen with what looks like a crack approaches. The screen is not broken, but LED or what is beneath it. Had not left the house at that time. I wanted to go, but my daughter needed for college and he was afraid it would not be replaced or repaired in time. He loves its lightness and functionality, but is either defective or too fragile.

Since a larger proportion of computer users recognize the digital freedom that is available with Wi-Fi hotspots and Go-Anywhere is the Internet, there is a growing trend toward mobile computing. As is always the case for serious users, there is however the question: desktop or laptop? It is right for a long time that the desktop computer market, has-been quite a lead in the mobile world, where is the benefit.

I took this netbook in part because it was advertised as having a backlit LED display and has been heralded as a "green" laptop. But after I bought it, I realized that this was anything but. I turned to discover that said the following. "Lamp contains mercury. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal law." As we all know, the LED does not contain mercury, CCFL's do. So there you have it … written on the back of the Netbook - this laptop is CCFL backlight although advertised as the backlight LEDs. In addition, said the manual handling of pipe which are exposed to lead, a chemical know to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm … lovely. I tried to ask Toshiba's "technical support" on it and they were worthless .. could not even speak. Of course, I get it back soon.

I bought this laptop to another dealer. I got this laptop for a week and I have no problems with it so far. E 'was great to work with. I really like its small, portable and lightweight. The reason why I decided to buy this laptop is so that I could take to school with me. It fits in my backpack. Overall I'm satisfied with this laptop.
