Toshiba Mini NB255-N245 10.1-Inch Black Onyx Netbook (8 Hour Battery Life) Review

I’ve never really used a PC for more than a few minutes at a time at a friend’s house. I’ve been a Mac guy since 1992 when I began college and first got into graphic design. I have always hated Windows and I have always thought non-Macs felt like cheap junk, the interface always seemed difficult and clunky whether it was Windows 95 or XP. I have only tested Vista and 7 in the stores until I finally bought the bullet and just decided to get this little netbook… because, let’s face it, Apple dropped the ball with that iPad crap.

If you're considering this machine, you already know the pros and cons, is small, it is not Crysis, or any other game or application made to work, but if you're looking for a car to go everywhere and run all days on a single charge, without seeking sockets, this is your gadget.

Windows XP running well on this, I considered using it as a Hackintosh, but apparently not disable the Wi-Fi.

Definitely worth the investment.

Not a big fan of laptops, let alone a netbook, but Toshiba is a weak point. It 'a long battery life, full-size keyboard that is a pleasure to use. Love it, Toshiba.

They have awesome capabilities of handling large amounts of data very quicklypossible. And when it comes to the notebook's free list, it is entirely on the type of model now and what functions it can perform.

I used EEE 1000HE for several months, and my experience is great. I also owned the original Eee 4G for ~ 18 months (We say that the car was a massive compromise).

XP installed by default, there is nothing wrong with that. It also operates out of the box, and there were at least excessive bloatware. I found pre-installed bloatware to be the most important factor in how the new computer is running (and the main reason why I was building his year of the desktop). Skype, StarOffice, and other preinstalled programs are in fact the case, one is likely to use. Awesome!

I bought the Asus netbook based on the recommendations of a colleague who had bought one and many publications that quoted him as the best on the market. All these recommendations have proved spot-on! In the month since I took delivery of it, the product has fully met my expectations. It 'easy to use, the keyboard is large enough, and the battery life is up to its demands. A defined-option 5 star!

First of all, I've been a Mac user for 2 years, so that Windows XP on small car does not impress in any way. It's too late I was accustomed to Vista - XP in comparison is just so boring.

How does it work?

A touch screen phone has three major parts by which it actually works. A touch sensor, controller and software drivers. Touch screen sensor is basically a clear pane of glass and has a touch interface that creates joyful interaction respond to you with your mobile phone. The controller takes the information from the touch sensor and translates it for the OS of the phone. Finally, combining the software drivers that they interact with each other and give aawesome result in terms of a touch screen phone for you, which is really a pleasure to use.

Going for the rounded look with a curved lid of the Asus Eee PC 1005PEB definitely looks cool with burnt ocher color to cover Burgundy. While the design is nice and solid, the color alone is enough to set it apart from other netbooks in the same class. The netbook has many of the design aspects that make the Asus Eee PC lineup as successful as rounded corners and a slightly conical lid.

I'm so happy for my little netbook pink and I must pay the battery for about 3 hours. When I went to step by step instructions to activate the Netbook. After I connected my wireless connection, and are in Internet Explorer, the mouse is stuck in the middle of the screen. I tried a lighter, but it would only inch along. I thought maybe I locked the mouse. I called Samsung and tried everything to solve the problem and get the flexible work. We turned away and away and it would work for a few seconds and then freeze. He also sought to increase the level of contact, but nothing worked. She told him to go back to Samsung and they would repair or replacement. Then I called Amazon and told them what happened. They said they would rather send me a new and apologized for the situation.
